No More Smoking In Public Places

Dayton Ohio is banning smoking in public
places and on the job, on Thursday at 12:01 am.
The city of Dayton voted last November at the
election polls to do away with smoking in public
places and on the job.

The fallout from the election is just now beginning.
Truck drivers just found out today that they will no
longer be allowed to smoke in the cabs of their trucks.

Majority of the truck drivers that were intervied
on the news, where not aware that the ban included
them. There is bound to be more fallouts from this
new ban in the coming days and after the ban is over.

The "N" word, who's using it?

If you look in the headlines of the major newspapers the Michael Richard’s incident is all over them. Why do people feel the need to use this word? Who uses this word? These are the questions many people ask themselves.

Some rappers use the “N” word in majority of their records. Some black and some white youth use the “N” word in their daily vocabulary. Who is to say who can say it and who can not? For some the word gives a shiver up the spine. For others its just a way of greeting each other.

The year is now 2006 coming close to 2007. We need to let this word go and go on with our lives. Only ignorance and hurt comes with this word. In my opinion, the “N” word is better left out of our vocabulary.
